Where: North-Central Russia. This region is home to some of the biggest moose in the world. Huge moose in the 50 to 70 inch class are taken every year.


What
: Trophy moose. To date our success rates are 100%. Compare to Alaska which has low over-all success rates. Best harvest ratio of big moose in world.

How: Spot and stalk.

Facilities: Lodge, cabins and large heated tents. Most camps have generator for electricity. Meals are prepared by the staff. No cabin chores.

Weather: Average temperatures range from a low of twenty at night, to 40's and 50's during the day.

Type of Terrain: We will be hunting in wide valleys, along rivers and streams, and in the lower elevations of the mountains for moose.

Recommended Firepower: 300 mag., 338, 375 with 180 grain or larger bullets.

Shooting Distance: Average between 100 and 250 yards.

Other Trophies Available For Extra Tag Fees: Second moose tag sometimes available, along with bear and sheep. You pay for additional animals only if you shoot them. Tag fees available upon request.

Price of Expedition Package: Includes all local transportation in Russia, food, lodging in camp, guides, bear license, trophy fees, interpreters, skinning and salting of hide. A deposit of $1,500 is required to reserve a spot on the hunt. Please contact us for current price list.

Does Not Include: Personal items such as fees for passports, visa (we will help you get your visa once you obtain a passport) tips, souvenirs, transportation to Russia or the Ukraine, hotels and meals in town, U.S. Fish & Wildlife fees, taxidermy fees, and other items of a personal nature.

Hides: Will be skinned, fleshed and salted at no charge.
