"Grunt, Snort, Wheeze"

Why is "Grunt, Snort, Wheeze" considered by many to be the best whitetail deer video ever produced? Click here to see what the experts have to say!

"The world doesn't need another deer hunting video," a video distributor told me a few years ago, when I told him I was working on a deer filming project. "Heaven knows there are enough 'see over two dozen kills on film' and 'see six pass-through shots on film' videos on the shelf right now. And there are plenty of 'how to call in that big buck' demonstration tapes as well," he continued. "If you want to sell a deer video, you need to come up with a fresh new idea. Something nobody has ever done before."

"You mean like a deer calling video that shows deer actually making all the sounds themselves, not just a bunch of call manufacturers blowing on a plastic tube," I smiled. "Have you ever seen anything like that? I guess you could call it a video straight from the horse's. . . er, in this case. . . the deer's mouth."

"You know what, that's exactly what is missing from all these deer calling technique videos," the distributor replied. "You see plenty of so-called experts doing their thing, but rarely do you see a deer actually making the calls. Makes you wonder if they really do make all these sounds, I've never seen a deer do half the things they say they do. Unfortunately, I doubt if anybody could ever produce a video like that. Do you realize how many years it would take in the field to actually get real, live deer making these sounds on film? Hey, if you can come up with a video like that, I'll sell it!"

Well, folks, the video they said couldn't be done has been done. It's called "GRUNT, SNORT, WHEEZE" and it's nothing short of amazing! You will see for the first time ever on film deer actually communicating with each other. Over five years in the making, this video captures on film vocalizations most hunters never knew existed, let alone have heard in the field.

Scientists have discovered 12 different vocalizations that deer make. You can see and hear these vocalizations up close and personal, right from the deer's mouth. You will learn from Dr. Karl Miller an Associate Professor of Wildlife Management at The University of Georgia, a well known deer research biologist who has spent many years studying deer vocalization, what these sounds mean and why deer make them. You will see for what we believe is the first time ever on film the exciting "Grunt- Snort - wheeze" made by highly irritated bucks that are ready to fight. You will also see deer making many 9ther agonistic, mating, and contact calls such as the tending grunt

This is not just another whack 'em and stack 'em tape, rather it's an in depth look at what few hunters know much about... the voice and vocabulary of the white-tailed deer. What better source to learn how to mimic deer vocalizations than from the deer themselves! Hunters and wildlife biologist agree, this video has some of the most amazing whitetail deer footage ever captured on film!
